Happy 5 month birthday to our sweet girl! It is amazing to me how fast this month has gone. Madison is growing up so much right now that it amazes me everyday! This month she is starting to be a girl on the move...always wanting to roll over, look around and move positions. It was a hilarious event to try and take 5 month pictures. Between 4 adults, we managed to get her to look at us for some good pictures.
Madison–This has been the fastest month so far! There is nothing better than when we get to see you smile when we get you out of bed in the morning or when we see you at the end of the day. We love you so much!
Date: February 6, 2014
Weight: You weigh close to 16 pounds and are 25 in. long! You are wearing 3-6 month clothes, but some of your pants are getting too short. You are still in size 2 diapers.
Sleeping: You are such an amazing sleeper! While Mommy & Daddy worried about your routine for the past few months, you got yourself on a schedule this month. You usually sleep from 8pm-7am & hardly ever wake up in the middle of the night.
Eating: You started baby food this month! You eat either rice cereal or baby food in the morning & evening, along with 6oz of milk 4 times a day. You love carrots & squash, but do not like green beans.
Milestones: Daddy brags on your strength all the time! You are able to push up on your arms when you are laying on your stomach, look from side to side & easily roll from your back to stomach. We are still working on rolling stomach to back. You have started to sleep on your stomach at night & you can often put your Wubbie back in your mouth when you are holding it in your hand. GiGi taught you how to make sounds with your tongue. You love to do this while eating your baby food! You started sitting in a high chair & loved it!
Special Moments: This month we celebrated Nana’s 92nd birthday! It was a beautiful day at her house. we spent the day outside playing & eating. Lisa also came from Austin to visit and meet you. We went to eat dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf in Galveston and you loved looking at the boats!
