Galveston

On Sunday, we went to Galveston to enjoy the nice weather.  It was Madison fist trip to Galveston and judging by the pictures, it looks like she enjoyed it!  We started off with breakfast at the Sunflower CafĂ©.  They have the most wonderful Belgian waffle with berries.  Afterward, we went to walk around The Strand.  We quickly learned where all the ramps where..something we never needed to worry about before since we haven't had a stroller. The weather was beautiful and it was a great family outing!  We have such fond memories of Galveston from Eric's time in grad school at UTMB.It still amazes me that it has been 5 years since Hurricane Ike hit Galveston.  So much has happened in our lives since we were newly married and Eric was starting grad school in September 2008.   We look forward to sharing Galveston with Madison as she gets older.
