Five on Friday

Happy Friday!  I am officially 5 weeks into my maternity leave.  The weeks are flying by fast, which makes me sad.  But, the good thing about Friday is that Eric gets to be home with us all weekend! Here's 5 good things for Friday.

THE GOOD LIFE BLOG

1. Today is my dad's birthday!  Since he has to work today, we are celebrating tomorrow with dinner and dessert.  Madison gave him some birthday wishes this morning...best birthday gift ever!

2. Last weekend was so much fun and full of adventure for Madison.  On Saturday, we celebrated my three nephew's birthdays!  Cainan turned 5 and the twins, Brennin and Westin turned 1.  The twins were born on Cainan's birthday last year, so now all 3 boys share a birthday.  The theme was 3 Ring Circus...and it couldn't be more fitting!  Cainan's party was at an inflatable place and the twins celebrated at home afterwards.

3. On Sunday, we celebrated Madison's 1 month birthday by going to the pumpkin.  Fall is by far my favorite time of year.  I have wanted to take our baby to a pumpkin patch for years, and this year my wish finally came true!  We are so excited to get to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas with Madison this year.

4. Us girls took on the mall this week!  It was nice to get out of the house and walk around for a while.  We were good girls and didn't buy much...just a red onsie for Madison to wear around Christmas time.

5. I am loving all the pumpkin flavored food that is out right now!  I have been enjoying pumpkin spice lattes more than I need to lately.  I actually have gone all week without a trip to Starbucks...hopefully we can change that this weekend.  I can't wait to try this pumpkin pie smoothie next week!

    1. Thank you! I just looked at your blog...congrats on your baby girl! You are at such an exciting time being 32 weeks. Enjoy every minute of your pregnancy, even as it gets tough towards the end. You will miss being pregnant, but there is nothing better than holding that little baby in your arms.
