Eric's Graduation Day!

August 19th was a day that we had been waiting for since Eric started at UTMB in August 2008...graduation day!  It was everything we had hoped for and more.  A day surrounded by friends and family, celebrating Eric's hard work and many stressful times for the 2 of us. 

Eric's graduation took place at the Moody Garden's Convention Center, which was really neat.  We stayed the night at the Moody Garden's Hotel with my parents and Eric's family.  It was such a surreal experience to see Eric walk across the stage.  It really hit me when they called him Dr. Eric Konesheck...that's right, I'm married to a Dr. =) 

After dinner, we went to dinner with both our families, and grandparents at Landry's in Galveston.  After dinner, we went back to the hotel, explored and took Tegan and Cainan to get ice cream.  Later that night, we went to The Strand to celebrate some more. We had a great time getting to go out with Eric's siblings and meeting up with some friends he went to school with.  Some of us enjoyed the night more than others...Eric and Darren...

We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate Eric's hard work and dedication.  Congrats to the UTMB Doctorate of Physical Therapy Class of 2011!!
