First Ultrasound

We went for our first ultrasound when I was 6 1/2 weeks along. It was the longest 3 weeks from the time we found out until the ultrasound. As we sat in the waiting room, I was on the verge of an anxiety attack because it was so nervous that we wouldn't see a heartbeat. Once we got into the room, the doctor was able to find the baby and the heartbeat right away! I immediately burst into tears and breathed a sigh of relief. It was the most amazing thing to see the small flicker of the heartbeat! We even got to hear the heartbeat, which was around 180 beats per minute. I will never forget the feeling that day.
