Happy 30th Birthday Eric!
Today we are celebrating Eric's 30th birthday! Considering that we started dating when we were 14, we have been able to celebrate many birthdays together. The past year has been full of excitement and this year seems so much more special since we get to celebrate as a family with Madison. We are planning to eat dinner at Perry's Steakhouse. My mom offered to watch Madison, but Eric said he wanted to celebrate his dinner with both his girls. ;)

{Five on Friday}
Happy Friday friends! This Friday sure did sneak up on me! It has been a busy week and I feel like we are still tying to get things back in order from last weekend.
Madison's car made the trip...
1. We celebrated Madison's 1st Easter! We started out the day being lazy and we all stayed in our pajamas until noon. ;) Once we all got dressed, we gave Madison her Easter basket. She loved pulling out all her goodies. We spent the afternoon at my parents house having an "egg hunt" for Madison, eating dinner and playing outside.
2. My parents house backs up to one of the lakes in the neighborhood.There are ducks that swim around and they recently had babies. Madison and Pops took some time on Easter Day to feed the ducks. Not sure who was cuter...the ducklings or Madison and Pops!
3. We got a "new to us" treadmill this weekend. We have been shopping for treadmills, but Eric's parents were nice enough to give us theirs that they don't use anymore. We headed to Katy on Friday afternoon to spend the night with Eric's family and pick up the treadmill. After lots of manpower, the boys got the treadmill loaded up. Once we got home on Saturday, Eric realized we forgot the power cord. Luckily, Eric's sister was able to overnight it to us. I'm looking forward to having a treadmill! Here are a few pictures from our trip to Katy.
4. Madison had another Easter celebration with my grandparents. She got some (tons) adorable clothes, baby food and her favorite toy...a chick that sings the chicken dance song and flaps it's wings. She cracks up and tries to grab it's wing every time we turn it on.
We are off to celebrate this weekend! Eric's little brother, Darren is getting married!

One Cute Bunny
Happy Good Friday! We are looking forward to celebrating Madison's 1st Easter this weekend, so here is something cute to start off Easter weekend...
A few weeks ago, Eric and I bought some plastic eggs for Madison. We knew we wanted to take some Easter pictures of her, but we hadn't yet. On Saturday, we saw Eric's parents and they gave us an outfit from Eric's little sister, Aunt Kay Kay. As soon as I saw the outfit, we quickly changed Madison and headed outside for a photo shoot. The outfit is from Etsy and is absolutely adorable! Madison was a good model (as usual) and loved trying to eat the plastic eggs. I cannot get offer how incredibly adorable these pictures turned out!

Bluebonnet Patch 2014
One thing that is a staple for Spring time in Texas are pictures in the bluebonnet patch. We knew of a huge field of bluebonnets close to our house, but I have been scared to go because I heard that snakes like to hide in bluebonnet patches. After hearing that the man who owns the land treats the area for snakes, I finally worked up the courage to take pictures of Madison in the bluebonnets. We headed out last Sunday morning, before it started to rain. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the pictures turned out beautiful! Madison was a good model, as usual. As we were leaving, I told Eric that this time next year, she will be running through the bluebonnets!
